Hello RTV Fanatics Unite fans! From Ricky the Rat, Rufus the Rat Terrier, And of course, me, Catlover04! Hello RTV people, How are YOU on this beautiful Easter Sunday morning? I really am going to keep it short. Getting my day started earlier on this Easter morning. Enjoyed a couple of movies over the weekend: "The Resurrection of Gavin Stone", which I have found is no longer available on Netflix! So I had to rent it from Prime. Still, a delightful movie. The old classic "Easter Parade"... a great musical starring Judy Garland, Fred Astaire and Peter Lawford. And a new one from Great American Family called "Just In Time"... Hannah and her husband Rowan are trying to have a baby. When Hannah receives a call from a stranger who claims to have discovered a long-lost heirloom from her family, she sees that the answers to all she seeks will be revealed in God's time. Simply a lovely movie, about a struggling couple who find healing for their marriage and their souls during this Easter season. Sunday, March 31st "Tracker: Chicago", Season 1 Episode 7, 8 pm on CBS Colter, Bobby and Reenie race against time to track down a talented MMA fighter who disappeared while trying to solve her family's trouble with their visas. Visas? Let's hope this means Justin runs into legal problems, requiring help from his comic-relief providing attorney (who was absent last week). "The Way Home: Bring Me To Life", Season 2 episode 10, 9 pm on Hallmark Del, Kat, Alice and Elliot each receive answers about their past and present, while hope for the future brings new questions. Seems it would be easy to work an Easter theme into this show.... Monday, April 1st No MasterChef Junior tonight .... ... because Fox is having an IHeart Radio music thing. We have no idea why. "Deal or No Deal Island: Are You Intentional?", Season 1, Episode 6, 10 pm on NBC The remaining eight players continue their quest for the big prize; explosive drama unfolds as the banker presents a game-changing personal offer; the group wrangles with snakes of all kinds. I maintain.. fun little show, even with the excessive Boston Rob (#HeeHeeHee) Tuesday, April 2nd "Will Trent: Capt Duke Wagner's Daughter", Season 2 Episode 5, 8 pm on ABC As threats against Amanda escalate, Will investigates, narrowing down a list of potential suspects; Amanda is forced to confront moments from her past; Ormewood struggles in Gina's absence. Hard to predict where this week's comic relief will be provided..... "The Rookie: The Vow", Season 6 Episode 5, 9 pm on ABC When a toddler is found at the scene of a crime, John and Bailey must decide whether to let the child go to a shelter for the night or care for her themselves; when someone from his past returns, Tim disappears and leaves Lucy in the dark. So many questions here! From Tim's "professional" or "personal" past? A male or female "someone"? And why would you leave Lucy in the dark when you just KNOW she is dying to put into action the detective skills she was unjustifiably robbed of professionally using?? Sounds like Tim is pretty much screwed here! Wednesday, April 3rd "Survivor 46: Cancel Christmas" (hmmm, no), Episode 6, 8 to 9:30 pm on CBS Castaways hit the ground running to figure out where the cracks are within the other tribes; the players hope to find new life in the game if they can earn the merge. "Earn" the merge? Oh dear God, does this mean the merge might be "turned back" for a completely idiotic reason that only Probst will want? Has he not learned that the entire audience is through with this? "The Amazing Race: Those Who Wander Are Not Lost", Season 36 Episode 4, 9:30 pm on CBS Teams para-glide their way to the start of this leg in Medellín, Colombia, where they must choose between detours getting in sync or decoding a rebus puzzle. Uh, producers? You're aware that there are five other continents on the planet Earth, right? "Resident Alien: Homecoming", Season 3 Episode 8 FINALE, 10 pm on Syfy Harry and Asta team up with an unlikely ally to try to save the Earth. (Doesn't this happen every week?) Thursday, April 4th "Ghosts: Hello Brother", Season 3 Episode 6, 8:30 pm on CBS Trevor's brother Jeremy checks into Woodstone after discovering a loophole in the Woodstone Rewards Points program. I'd suggest the attorney from "Tracker" drop by for both legal advice and comic relief, but since this show is a comedy..... "Next Level Chef: Squad Goals", Season 3 Episode 11, 8 pm on Fox The eight remaining competitors must work together in teams to create a cohesive three-course meal; with only 30 minutes on the clock, the team with the winning menu remains safe from elimination. "Elspeth: A Classic New York Character" Season 1 Episode 2 at 9 pm, and "Reality Shock", Episode 3 at 10 pm. After a loathed co-op board president of a luxury building falls to her death off her balcony, Elsbeth and Kaya are called to the scene where they meet Joann, a high-powered Manhattan real estate broker with huge clients and even bigger secrets. and then.... When a larger-than-life reality TV star is found dead in her bathtub, Elsbeth and Kaya investigate the circumstances around her death to determine if it was an accident or murder. Sad we have to have two "Elsbeth"s tonight instead of a "So Help Me Todd" but... since that is the case, we can either enjoy both episodes of this new show... or use one of these hours to chat the finale of "Resident Alien"... Friday, April 5th ... or we can do the "Resident Alien" finale chat on Friday. You guys let me know what you'd like to do. Happy EASTER everyone! These are my rat musings for the day. If anyone has anything to add, please do so in the comments.

Hello RTV People, If you are all caught up on anything you care about from last night's TV, you are safe to enter. Truth be told, this page has become a pretty fun one, full of randomness. So, if you are NOT caught up on LAST NIGHT'S TV..... yada, yada, yada Have a great day!

Hello RTV Fanatics Unite fans! From Ricky the Rat, Rufus the Rat Terrier, And of course, me, Catlover04! Hello RTV People!, How are YOU on this lovely Palm Sunday spring morning? North Carolina is having some lovely weather this weekend. I hear in Canada, maybe not as springlike as they would enjoy. Today is Palm Sunday... which means that next week is Easter. Great news - a four-day work week for me. But it means the other days will be busier than usual; could potentially be running late on some of them. Just a warning.... This week would be the perfect time to enjoy "The Chosen". But I'm a little disgruntled that they chose to launch all eight of the episodes of season four in theatres. I prefer to watch on the TV live streams - and now I might be waiting for a while. Apparently they are having legal issues that are hindering them from even releasing it on their own site. Good grief! It would have been a lovely gift to get to spend time with new "The Chosen" content for Easter. But I guess that won't be happening now. I COULD pull up Netflix and find the Dallas Jenkins movie "The Resurrection of Gavin Stone". Dallas considers this to be his biggest box office flop that he thought had ended his career. But I absolutely LOVE it as an Easter tradition. It was just ahead of its time, Dallas. I bet if he re-released it in theatres today, it might do considerably better. Dallas Jenkins has become famous for his wonderful work on "The Chosen", and Faith-based movies are doing a lot better at the box office today than they were a few years ago. Try it again, Dallas. I love the movie. Too much good TV on these days; it's hard to keep up with it all. I have already started weeding out some things on my "must see" list. But I cannot spend every weekend catching up on missed TV. After all, I must get outside a little while the weather is so good. I did completely catch up on "Animal Control" yesterday. It's Joel McHale at his snarkiest best. Not always the cleanest humour - but funny nonetheless. My favourite scene from yesterday's binge: If this show wasn't on at the same time as "Survivor", I'd try to work in a chat time. But alas, it has too much competition for our little site. Fun little show though. I haven't been keeping up with the rom/com spring movie world on Great American or Hallmark. Will have to check to see if I've missed anything good that I chould on-demand. I'm sure I'll get back to that at some point. In the meantime, how about we move on to our TV week: Sunday, March 24th "Tracker: Lexington", Season 1 Episode 6, 8 pm on CBS Colter reluctantly teams up with his nemesis, fellow reward seeker Billie Matalon, to track down a missing racehorse. Nice of CBS to shift this to 8 pm for us, since it conflicted with "The Way Home" for Ali and I. "The Way Home: Here Without You", Season 2 episode 9, 9 pm on Hallmark All three Landry women feel the absence of a key ally in their lives as they struggle to make life-altering decisions and choices. Only a couple of episodes to go before the end of season two and the great news is... it has already been green lit for a third season! This show is giving us an intriguing mystery. Love it! Monday, March 24th "The Bachelor: Joey Graziadei", Finale! Season 28, Episode 11, 9 pm on ABC The emotional conclusion of Joey's journey. Finale! How many minutes will it take them to start up another season? Hee hee. The show has been hinting all season long that Joey will end up alone at the altar because he won't get an acceptance to his proposal. Not a single watcher believes this will happen. I think the biggest suspense of the night will be, who will become the new "Bachelorette" - or, perhaps, will they announce that tonight? "MasterChef Junior: Magic Castle", Season 22 Episode 4, 8 pm on Fox The top eight young chefs journey to the famous Magic Castle to celebrate its 60th anniversary; the chefs split into teams to perform magic on the grill and feed the magicians and staff of the Academy of Magical Arts. I've been enjoying this season, I guess.... but I'm more looking forward to the next adult version. I hear we have a new "Top Chef" getting underway on Bravo; on Wednesday, of course. But still, might have to check that out. I haven't really watched a full season so kind of would like to for once. Also, The Food Network's "Tournament of Champions" is quite fun on Sunday. And sorry for the bunny trail - but I discovered yesterday that if I log into Food Network Go with my Hulu account, I get to catch up with some of its fun content ad-free. I keep saying we are going to drop Hulu Live to save a bit of money, but every time we do that, we end up taking it back. We live too far from the towers to get all the networks with an indoor antenna. I need someone to install a good outdoor antenna. That might be the only way to go, unless we want to go more "suburb" and less "rural", heh. No, I don't see us moving. "Deal or No Deal Island: Are You Trustworthy?", Season 1, Episode 5, 10 pm on NBC Failing the banker's test of trust could eliminate one of the remaining nine players from the pursuit of the largest prize in Deal or No Deal history. Call me RTV crazy, but I really enjoy everything about this show. The cast drama. The strategy. The deals with the Banker. I even love Boston Rob's presence in this first season. Those who refused to give it a chance just because of BR, you're missing out; this is a good RTV format for him. I loved last episode. Rob had to play against the banker. Someone calls "Now Rob, the Banker wants you to know. This is a one-time thing. You won't get invited back two, three, four times. This ISN'T Survivor". Hee hee. So amusing. Even got a chuckle out of BR. Tuesday, March 26th The Tuesday shows are back! "Will Trent: It's Easier to Handcuff A Human Being", Season 2 Episode 4, 8 pm on ABC" Will and Faith investigate a small town haunted by the "Boo Hag"; a suspect is quickly assumed, but connections to the past unveil unexpected surprises; Ormewood investigates a TV star's murder; Amanda senses impending danger. It's easier to handcuff as human being... as opposed to a "fill in the blank" (chihuahua?) I guess we will have to watch to find out. "The Rookie: Training Day", Season 6 Episode 4, 9 pm on ABC It's Officer Aaron Thorsen's first day back since the assault, and he's tasked with a series of high-stress cases to determine whether he's ready to work; the team investigates a homicide case with a potential tie to the pentagram killer. Pentagram killer? Do we know about this yet? It's been so long since we've had a new episode, I've forgotten if that was set up in the show already. Wednesday, March 27th "Survivor 46: Tiki Man", Episode 5, 8 to 10 pm on CBS A castaway's memory must serve them well on a journey for an advantage; tensions run high as the hunt for an immunity idol sends one tribe on a wild goose chase. Now that the edit doesn't have to completely focus on the drama of Bhanu, maybe we can get some good game play out of the rest of the cast? Bhanu really did suck all the air out of the room, didn't he? Way too much edit. Way too much drama. Way too much.... Bhanu. Time to move on. (Seriously, no mention of a tribe swap? They are really going to run with only three Yanu and a full six Siga and Yami? Okay....) Maybe it's just because of coming off what has been called worldwide by most fans as the BEST season of "Survivor" of any version anywhere: "Australian Survivor: Titans versus Rebels". But I'm becoming so critical of this USA season. Now that that distraction is over and this will be all I'm focusing on, perhaps I'll start enjoying it more. But having Paramount Plus does give me access to ALL seasons of US "Survivor". I admit, a couple of nights ago, I pulled up season one and watched a few episodes. Kind of fun seeing where the show began. Might be fun to revisit early seasons to recall the "evolution of the game" that we were introduced to in 2002 right up until what we have NOW. Do I have time to watch 47 seasons in order to make this comparison? No, of course not. If I had incentive to watch with the fun of an "Evolution of Survivor" podcast to listen to? Yes, I might be willing to try. This sounds like a good project for RHAP, heh. Get on it, Rob C!! Your fans have spoken! "The Amazing Race: It's Not Over Till Phil Sings", Season 36 Episode 3, 9:30 pm on CBS Teams climb the stairs to the top of El Peñon de Guatapé in Colombia to find their clue and begin the third leg of the race. If they are calling this the THIRD leg, I guess that means that the leg last week was technically leg two. Which means it wasn't a "Mega Leg" - it was two legs with no break in between. I've heard speculation that they do stuff like that for budget purposes. "Who cares if the racers can't get any rest? We need to avoid excessive hotel bills for a night!" Heh. "Resident Alien: Here Comes My Baby", Season 3 Episode 7, 10 pm on Syfy Harry and Asta get surprise visits. Ben grows suspicious of Mike and Liv's private investigation. I see no reason why we can't do this on Thursday like last week, since.... Thursday, March 28th ... we have another week of the NCAA tournament, so no new episodes for our usual chats. "Next Level Chef: It's All Greek To Me", Season 3 Episode 10, 8 pm on Fox Using a bounty of fresh ingredients from the platform, the chef who prepares the best Greek entree wins immunity for their team. This chat can go forward as scheduled. I really do like this. Friday, March 29th Being Good Friday and all, I'm sure I'll be taking the night off chatting. Hope you all have a lovely day off (if you get a day off like I do). And that you have a lovely Easter weekend. These are my rat musings for the day. If anyone has anything to add, please do so in the comments. Hello RTV People, If you are all caught up on anything you care about from last night's TV, you are safe to enter.
