Hello RTV Fanatics Unite fans! From Ricky the Rat, Rufus the Rat Terrier, And, of course me, Catlover04! Good morning! Hope you all are well this fine... and very rainy ... Sunday. At least it's very rainy where I am. This is the kind of day that I'd really enjoy getting to stay at home, sleep in, take a leisurely "morning coffee moment" and a late breakfast, followed by a day of rest, reading, and maybe a bit of TV. But alas - I must go to work. This cat ALMOST looks as annoyed as I feel. Anyway, moving on to our TV week: Sunday, October 25th Still.... wide open. Seriously, ALL the good TV is on Tuesday and Wednesday. They couldn't fine ONE thing that could go on Sunday? Sheesh! Monday, October 26th "Big Brother" Season 22 Episode 36, 8 pm on CBS WM? The final HOH comp is split into two parts: the winner of the first comp gets an automatic "bye" into the final comp, while the losing two compete to make to the finals. We will know who the last two standing are by the end of this episode. "The Voice: Blind Auditions Continue" Season 19 Week 2, 8 pm on NBC Another season of "The Voice" is off and running. The premiere was pretty good; looking forward to the rest. Since there are two episodes a week, I think I'll just do one page to be used for both. I'm pretty sure we won't be live chatting much. "Dancing With The Stars" Episode 7, 8 pm on ABC Still following this but think I'll not bother with chat pages. Have I mentioned how much I hate the loss of Tom and Erin and how much I dislike our new Hostess Tyra? No? Oh, only about 800 times. Still, that's not the fault of the rest of the cast. The dancing has been very good, so I'll stick it out. Tuesday, October 27th "The Bachelorette: Claire" Season 16 Episode 3, 8 pm on ABC WM? The previews hint that this is the week Claire defies the standard Bachelorette procedures and leaves the show with love-of-her-life Dale. On episode THREE? I'm calling red herring. I think the producers will want to milk this for all the drama they can before they give up on their first "mature" lead and bring on Tayshia. Though, not sure what you guys will do because.... "This Is Us: Forty" Parts One and Two, Season 5 Two Hour Premiere, 8 pm on NBC Premiere synopsis reads like this: "In the two-hour premiere, the Pearsons gather to celebrate their 40th birthday while musing about the day they were born." That's right! A birthday celebration for the Big Three often (always?) kicks off the season. I recall some parts of that finale last season left me a little bit cold; I hope I like this season. I will stick it out for Rebecca. It was heart-wrenching, watching this beloved character slipping into the confusion that is Alzheimers. It sure won't help that her two beloved sons are at each others throats, will it? Have you all seen the season five trailer? There will be a live chat. And like most of our TIU chats, it will probably have limited comments since the intensity of the show simply doesn't allow for much talking. "The Voice: Blind Auditions Continue" Season 19 Episode 2, 8 pm on NBC Will do one page for the week. I'm sure I will delay watching this episode anyway, since THIS IS US. "NEXT: File #3" Season 1 Episode 3, 9 pm on Fox Episode synopsis reads like this: "Shea and LeBlanc head to Dartmouth to investigate NEXT's whereabouts, which are potentially linked to Biomotion Labs; Shea, Ethan and Ty take extra precautions to disconnect from electronics and the internet." Because Tuesday doesn't have enough happening.... why not this too? Pretty good show, but since it's on opposite "This Is Us", will we still be live chatting? I think maybe we should start using the next day's Daily Chat Page instead. After all, that was what it was designed to be. That means, take that "Make sure you've caught up on whatever it is you care the most about last night's TV before you visit the page" thing seriously, kay? Wednesday, October 28th Wednesday is complicated too..... "The Amazing Race: We're Making Big Moves" Season 32 Episode 3, 8 pm on CBS Episode synopsis: "Teams are in Manaus, Brazil, where they have big decisions to make when they encounter the first U-turn of the race." Really a shame that EW is not recapping. I know I won't feel up to it, as Thursday morning is a very early morning for me this week. If WM feels like adding a recap to the Live Chat heading, that would be okay. OR, is there is another recap source we can find if we look hard enough? Stupid EW. Is Jodi Walker still there? I'm sure she would welcome a chance to continue recapping! **Note the change to 8 pm "Big Brother" Season 22 Episode 33, 9 to 11 pm on CBS Close to the end? WM? Is this the Finale? Yep, Big Brother season twenty-two comes to an end in tonight's two-hour episode. Right now, it's looking like Cody's game to lose, but as always, it will all depend on how Tuesday's final HOH goes. If Cody doesn't win (highly unlikely, yes I know), could a light bulb (finally) go off in the heads of one of second-tier players Nicole and Enzo - might one of them decide NOT to hand him the game and battle each other for victory instead? An unsatisfying conclusion for sure - but also the ONLY genuine suspense there has been this season since about, oh, episode two or three? "The Masked Singer: Masked But Not Least" Season 4, Episode 5 8 pm on FOX Episode synopsis: The final group of celebrity contestants take the stage for their first performances of Season 4. This will need to be a delayed watch.. probably on Thursday? What do you think guys? "I Can See Your Voice", Season 1 Episode 4, 9 pm on Fox Guest panelists Yvette Nicole Brown and Bob Saget; the chosen contestant performs with Pat Monahan (Oooh.. is that the TRAIN guy? The one who did that lovely duet with PINK?). I believe it is! So again, it will be a "delayed chat". I'll just do one mashup page for both shows and we will delay chat on Thursday as close to 8 pm as we can. Or Friday. Either night would be okay with me. "American Ninja Warrior: Finals 1" Season 12 Episode 7, 9 pm on NBC When did Wednesday become such a busy night? I've completely lost track but I know Ali is watching. How's it going, Ali? Thursday, October 29th Think we can do the TMS and ICSYV mash up dalayed watch tonight at 8 pm ish? (Or Friday if you would all prefer). Followed by.... "Star Trek Discovery: Choose Your Plan" Season 1 Episode 5 ....., 10 pm on CBS Episode synopsis reads like this: "While on a mission, Lorca unexpectedly finds himself in the company of Starfleet Lieutenant Ash Tyler and notorious intergalactic criminal, Harry Mudd; Burnham voices her concerns about the repercussions of the spore drive jumps on Ripper." "Spore drive jumps" crisis? Oh no! (I have no idea what that means. None at all) Friday, October 30th Wide open.... unless we decide to do the TMS and ICSYV thing on Friday instead. Saturday, October 31st Stay tuned for the Survivor fun.... still thinking about it.. heh.
These are my Rat Musings for the day. If I missed anything, or if you have something to add, please do so in the comments.
