Hello RTV Fanatics Unite fans! From Ricky the Rat, Rufus the Rat Terrier, And, of course me, Catlover04! Hello RTV people, There really isn't a lot to look forward to this week television-wise. This will be a very, very short page- which is probably good for me. I've been on a serious "Doctor Who" binge all day. And I have a very early morning tomorrow. Ahh... Doctor Who. It's been a while since I've seen some of these older episodes, and I just happened to turn it on right at the beginning of a batch that I very much consider a favorite for me. It's the "Amy and Rory" story of the Matt Smith years: "The soldier who stayed". Such fun to relive. It's been so long since I've had a day off to just do nothing, I gotta say.... it was fantastic. So it's the final week of a very long year. Not even a lot of good TV moments to recall for the spring, summer and fall of 2020... with the exception of Survivor 40! Spring 2020 was fantastic for Survivor Fans. And also Survivor Australia fans for their nicely done All Star season. Usually on New Year's Eve I do a "Best Of The Year TV Moments" page. But is there enough to actually fill one page? "Survivor 40" and "Australian All-Star". The wonderful "Zoey" show with an outstandingly performed but very sad finale. The invasion of "The Masked Singer" brought some fun moments, for sure. I might need some help coming up with some things to include so instead of me doing a long page... I might just start one then invite you all to help me recall anything - ANYTHING AT ALL! - that might be considered a memorable moment from the year 2020. Now, moving on to what little this week has to offer... Sunday, December 27th The Masked Dancer Premiere: "Everybody MASK Now!", 8 pm on FOX The first group of five celebrities dance; the host and panelists try to guess their identities based on clues within their routines. First, "The Masked Singer" is a very fun show. And now, "The Masked Dancer". Can't wait to check this out. Hosted by Craig Robinson ("The Office") with panelists Ken Jeong (of course), Ashley Tisdale ("High School Musical" movies - "Suite Life of Zach and Cody" is what I know her from the best), and Paula Abdul (I think). This could be a lot of fun. I'm in. Anyone else? That's it for Sunday, unless you're a football fan. And this isn't the "official" time slot for the show. I think it's ... Tuesday? Or maybe Wednesday. Not sure. Monday, December 28th Nothing on Monday of interest to me. May as well fill the page with cute pictures. Tuesday, December 29th Nope - nothing new here of interest to me again. But there is an episode of "To Tell The Truth" on at 8 pm on ABC. Not a new one but I don't think it's one I've seen. "Celebrity panelists are Mario Cantone, Raven Symoné, Rita Moreno and Deon Cole." I don't recall this set of panelists but I could be wrong. (You did indeed see this one, Catlover. Eighty-something Rita Moreno, her mind still as sharp as a tack! And it reminded you that you are outraged that they are daring to do a REMAKE of her Oscar-winning film "West Side Story"! Even having the legendary Steven Spielberg direct it lessens your anger!) Kind of a fun show. AND there is an episode from last season of "The Resident" on at 8 pm and and episode from last season of "The Prodigal" on at 9 pm. Fox preparing us for new seasons of both shows I guess. Ho hum... Wednesday, December 30th Nope... still nothing new. Just a lot of repeats. I will probably work on finishing my season one "Zoey" watch because I noticed that when number two starts, the first one will be pulled from Hulu. Why do they do that? No idea. Or maybe the "Doctor Who" binge will continue. Depends on who's home. We'll see. These guys are making their own fun. :-}} (Adorable!) The Goldbergs also on tonight. I think it's an old episode, but.... cute dog in the cast. Thursday, December 31st As I've done in the past, I will do a New Year's Eve page to highlight good TV moments from the year - IF I can think of any. heh. I know there are a few New Year shows on this evening. The Ryan Seacrest one is what my family always watches - if we do one, that will be it. Not sure if I'll watch, though - depends on who is home. Or we might just movie watch. Haven't really planned yet. Anyway... Prayers for a ... ... for ALL of us all over the world! Friday, January 1st I will be very excited to be home all Friday too. Not seeing any new episodes of anything I care to watch. If anyone is interested in anything like a Survivor watch... let me know. These are my Rat Musings for the day. If I missed anything, or if you have something to add, please do so in the comments.
