Hello RTV Fanatics Unite fans! From Ricky the Rat, Rufus the Rat Terrier, And, of course me, Catlover04! Going to keep this kind of short today. Not sure why, but I couldn't find anything clever to ramble on about. Got a late start on this last night and didn't get it fully done - and NOW church is calling, so I need to wrap it up quickly and get out of here. So... here we go: Sunday, June 27th "The Chase: I Don't Think We've Seen Anything Like THAT Before" Season 2 Episode 4, 9 pm on ABC The BEAST is a fun addition to this season. There used to be a "Chase" game app (that my daughter introduced me to years ago) in which you were competing against "The Beast". I'm not sure at the time I knew there was a REAL guy - I hadn't heard of the show yet. Now it's funny to see that App graphic in real person form. I'm sure the show must have been on quite a long time ago in the UK. Anyway.. moving on again. "To Tell The Truth: Brad Garrett. Michael Ealy and Jeannie Mai. " Season 7 Episode 4, 10 pm on ABC Wow... I know two of the three on this week's panel! Brad Garrett is sure to be a hoot. What happened to all of our fans of this show? We used to get quite a few interested parties. Whether I chat these shows or not will depend on who is at home at my place - I'll have to let you know. OOH.. unless we want to have a good old-fashioned "movie group watch". A classic film from 1960 telling the creepy story of Norman Bates is on tonight. That's right... "Psycho" is playing on Turner Classic Movies! Actually, not sure I care to watch this. It triggers a really bad memory from my childhood. Heh. Shall I tell the story? Maybe not the complete one. Let's just say that one of my siblings decided to pull a very mean practical joke on me late one Friday night after I watched this movie and it took a long, long time to settle me down. I was far too young for a movie like this in the first place. Parents weren't home; older sister baby sitting; other sibling with a bit of a mean streak. Use your imagination. Did any of you ever see the TV show "Bates Motel"? I saw the premier episode one night when the power had gone out and only had my phone to use. I sure regretted it - never went past the first episode. I only checked it out for Freddie Highmore. Won't do that again.... Anyway, moving on... Monday, June 28th "The Bachelorette: Katie Thurston", Season 17 Episode 4, 8 pm on ABC WM? One trouble-maker gets sent home, and another one pops up to take his place - his fate will be determined at tonight's rose ceremony (suspect the producers will keep this guy around a bit longer). Two front-runners had been established in the early episodes - last week, a widowed dad trumped them both and moved solidly to the front of the pack. Okay guys, we've got our extremes established. Now all you middling players need to step up your games or risk becoming after-thoughts! Tuesday, June 29th America's Got Talent, Auditions, Season 16 Episode 5, 8 to 10 pm. Enjoyable season so far but sadly, not enough time to walk down memory lane right now (Simon pulls practical joke on Sofia Vergara?) Maybe later. Hey... another episode of TTTT this week. 10 pm on Fox. Okay, it's not a new one (an episode from season four) but I don't think I've seen this one. This was three years ago before I knew this was a "thing". But check out these guests! Featured celebrities "Weird Al" Yankovic, Rob Riggle, Jesse Williams and Sherri Shepherd. Weird Al and Rob Riggle on the same show? I bet this was a fun one. Maybe I'll watch it just for fun. Wednesday, June 23th "Masterchef Legends", Season 18 Episode 5, Sherry Yard - Desserts, 8 pm on Fox Episode synopsis reads like this: "One of the world's most influential pastry chefs, Sherry Yard, visits the kitchen; the dessert challenge puts the spotlight on the home cooks' baking skills for the first time." Never heard of Sherry Yard. Heh. I'm really not up on my cooking legends. **Alert. I may not be home this evening - or at least not till kind of late. I'll do the pages early just in case. But if I'm not here, it's because there is an event I want to attend at church. If I get out of work in enough time to make it happen, I plan to. Or I'll catch up these two shows later, in the event that I miss the chat. "Crime Scene Kitchen: Red, White and Clue", Season 1 Episode 6, 9 pm on Fox Episode synopsis reads like this: The bakers head back into the kitchen to take on a new challenge; the best dessert detectives continue on in the competition and the duo that falls short will head home; guest judge Aarón Sánchez. HEY! Looks who's chiming in on "Crime Scene Kitchen"! How fun!! I'm just waiting for the day when Gordon Ramsey himself makes an appearance! Thursday, July 1st "Making It: Random Crafts of Kindness", Season 3 Episode 2, 8 pm on NBC Episode synopsis reads like this: Nick and Amy embrace the theme of sharing as the Makers create a dozen unique cookies for a cookie swap; the sharing continues as the Makers create a lending library themed to something they would want to share with their own neighborhood. Aw, love that title. What a fun show to celebrate what for many is an enjoyable hobby, the art of making crafts. The creativity that comes out of these people can be astounding. Makes me want to find a craft fair to go to as soon as possible. "Holey Moley: Earth Wind Fire Donuts", Season 3 Episode 4, 9 pm on ABC Episode synopsis reads like this: Golfers face three new holes, including Putt-A-Saurus, Parcade and Donut Hole; those who succeed face off on Dutch Courage En Fuego and joust their way to victory on King Parthur's Court. That picture... heh. Those hosts! They both are a hoot. Love this show so much.. such goofy entertainment. "The Hustler: Pick The Weird Stuff", Season 2 Episode 3, 10 pm on ABC Episode synopsis reads like this: Ivy League schools and truffles are clues to discovering the identity of the hustler. So funny that while last week's Hustler was obvious to all of us watching, it was completely missed by the two guys because they were so busy pointing fingers at each other. I do enjoy this very much. Friday, July 2nd "Survivor South Africa" Episode 5 (8 pm for all interested parties). If you want to join in but need to catch up with the first four episodes, let me know- I'll see if I can help. Such a fun season so far... it would be well worth your time to catch up and join in - if you love Survivor like I do! These are my Rat Musings for the day. If I missed anything, or if you have something to add, please do so in the comments. Have a fantastic Sunday!
