Hello RTV Fanatics Unite fans! From Ricky the Rat, Rufus the Rat Terrier, And of course me, Catlover04! Hello RTV People, How are you on this fine, early September so almost FALL Sunday morning? I did spend quite a lot of time yesterday putting together kick-off pages for both "Survivor 45" and "The Amazing Race 35". Am considering doing a "Disqus Channel Page" on the TV Blog to see if we can recover some of our old friends... or maybe even find some new Survivor/TAR Fans who would enjoy our Live Chats. Could be fun to have some new people show up. The risk, of course, would be drawing a few trolls; however, here on our Weebly site, it is easy to block and ban folks so if that happens, we all know what to do. Didn't make it to the "Rom-Com" page yet but plan to. Might just go ahead and include the upcoming Christmas Season fun. Do it the same place I did it last year... on the Special Event blog page... and post it on the Disqus TV Blog. Same risk but... same solution. Last nights "Great American Family" option was a lovely little movie called "Love Can Surprise You" on Great American Family... Simply Exceptional. I truly loved this one. Despite her professional expertise, a relationship columnist discovers love does not come easy when forced to partner with a new writer in the love and romance section. Exceptional cast. Sweet story. This will be one of my favorites of the season. Of course, I said this about last week's movie too. Great American has more "hits" than "misses" for me. Running short on time so will move on to our TV Week which is still pretty bleak... but soon there will be a few fairly good options so patience. Here we go... Sunday, September 10th "The Chosen: I am HE" Season 2 Episode 9, 8 pm to 9:30 pm on the CW Tension builds among the disciples as they wrestle with the increasing fame of Jesus in Samaria. This is the first episode of Season 2 which picks up where Season 1 left off... the Woman at the Well running and leaping with joy to the town to tell everyone that she just met a man who told her everything she'd ever done." She had just had the encounter with Jesus at the Well. And now the public ministry of Jesus has begun. "Big Brother", Season 25, Episode 17, 8 pm on CBS WM? Wait... he's out of town. Qotros? Ali? heh. QOTROS here: Actually, Big Brother is scheduled for 8:30 (or later) tonight. Everyone’s target, Cameron, has won the HOH again. A twist negated his first HOH week, so will we get a repeat of two weeks ago? Or will Cameron wake up and realize that there are bigger targets out there? If he does, will he be smart enough to pick the right targets? We will find out tonight. "When Calls The Heart: Best Laid Plans", Season 10 Episode 7, 9 pm on Hallmark. When a former student visits, Elizabeth thinks she may need her help. Meanwhile, Lucas orders something for all of Hope Valley to enjoy -- if they can get it to work. Last week's episode of this show was lovely. I read this week that the character of "Rosemary" was intended to be a short-lived guest spot but the reaction to her was so great, they found a permanent place for her in the cast. And aren't we glad they did? She is one of my favorite people. Monday, September 11th Still wide open. Tuesday, September 12th "The Amazing Race Canada" A quick glance at last weeks page tells me this show isn't quite done yet.... WM? Or Ali. or Qotros? Other than this, night is wide open. I think I have the final two episodes of "Traitor's Australia" to get through so will probably do that tonight. Traitor's NZ has ended and what fun it was. If anyone cares to check it out, all episodes are on Dailymotion and I'd enjoy watching through it again just for the chat. I enjoyed it so much... the cast was fantastic. The Host was a lot of fun. Different house than any of the other locations. So much fun. Wednesday, September 13th "Big Brother", Season 25, Episode 15, 8 pm on CBS The houseguests compete to win the power of veto; during the veto meeting, the winner of the competition can keep nominations the same or save someone from eviction for the week. A two-Hour veto episode? My goodness WM? or Quotros. Or Ali. heh. QOTROS Again: It’s a two hour POV episode featuring Josh Duhamel, the host of CBS’s upcoming Buddy Games. The Houseguests will compete in a POV based on the show. I’m not sure how they’re going to stretch this out to two hours, but I’m betting there’s going to be plenty of filler. "Masterchef United Tastes of America: Restaurant Takeover -- Hell's Kitchen; Semi-Finals: Pasta & Keeping up With Gordon" Season 21, Episode 17 and 18 at 8 pm on Fox The top six chefs face the ultimate challenge of taking over the world's largest Hell's Kitchen restaurant; the remaining five home cooks take on two rounds of challenges that determine who moves on to the finals. This one is winding down to a finish. Don't think we need to worry about it overlapping with the Survivor premiere. Thursday, September 14 "Big Brother", Season 25, Episode 19, 8 pm on CBS WM? Qotros? Ali? The Eviction episode moves to a new time, so set your calendars appropriately. "Buddy Games: Let The Buddy Games Begin", 9 pm on CBS Six teams of lifelong friends compete in absurd physical and mental challenges to claim the title of champion. Have not decided yet if I'm going to watch this... the only reason I'm mentioning it is because I like Josh Duhamel and because this premiere is sandwiched between "Big Brother" and "The Challenge USA". Anyone planning to check it out? "The Challenge USA: Enemy of the State" Season 2 Episode 9, 10 pm on CBS I've lost track of this one completely. WM? Ali? Qotros? Friday, September 15th Sadly, CBS was NOT kind enough to continue "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" tonight. Apparently, that was a ploy to get folks to sign up for Paramount Plus. I might be dropping Paramount Plus for a while after the Holiday's so I wouldn't mind finishing this one. If anyone wants to join me, perhaps Friday would be a good time to continue with Episode 3. These are my rat musings for the day. If anyone has anything to add, please do so in the comments.
