Hello Survivor Fans, I was just going to add this to the Live chat but then.... I had this blank page just sitting here waiting for something to happen. So here we are! The FIRST episode of Survivor 39, Island of the Idols. The first episode title was a Sandra Quote.... so I decided to change it to an Elaine quote instead. Because I thought it was the most memorable one of the episode. Earlier I posed a few questions to be answered after the premiere. After my short recap, I’ll give MY perception of the answers to these questions. You can all then tell me if you agree or disagree. First, I missed the marooning. And the scramble for supplies that always happens right at the start. I missed Jeff welcoming them all to Survivor. Shame they left all of the traditional opening moments out of the start of the show. I thought at first it was just for the sake of time but as it turns out… the cast did not get to enter the game of Survivor in the usual way. We did get Probst giving us an overview of the theme… and we DID get the traditional “20 people, 39 days, one Survivor” opening. But these twenty people were dropped off on the beach without the benefit of a Probst greeting. So here is what happened. We first visit the Lairo Tribe which consists of Missy, Dean, Ronnie, Karishma, Aaron, Vince, Chelsea, Tom, Elaine and Elizabeth First confessional comes from Karishma who is excited to be there but knows she has to calm down when they hit the beach. We also meet Chelsea who is lamenting over the missed marooning. And wondering what the heck Island of the Idols means. Sidenote: Fun Fact about Chelsea..... She's the one who is a super fan who has been trying to get on the show for a while. She spotted Probst from across the room in a restaurant, asked a waiter to find out what he was drinking, bought him a drink with a note to introduce herself then bolted. It took him a couple of seasons to actually cast her after that. We watch along as the Lairo tribe gets to know each other... building a shelter, etc. etc. A quick connection between Elizabeth and Missy seems promising. One an Olympic Swimmer, the other an Air Force Veteran at the age of 23. Both retired very young for different reasons and both very excited to play Survivor. We will meet the rest of Lairo later... Moving on to Volkai which consists of Tommy, Jack, Lauren, Molly, Jamal, Kelley, Noura, Janet, Jason, and Dan. Same confusion for Volkai to show up on a beach with no Jeff and a basket of purple buffs on the ground. No Jeff. No Marooning. And what the heck does "Island of the Idols" mean? One thing to note here is ... Janet. The older woman player that I had taken a personal liking to after hearing her interview. What I loved is she jumped right in there and got them a fire started, with NO flint, right away proving her value to the tribe. What a way to kick off your game, Janet! Moving back to Lairo, we continue getting to know them. Tom finds a bit of a connection with Elaine and Vince. However, the fact that the three of them took off alone leaving the other seven behind caused a stir and caused Ronnie to immediately want to target them all. Oh Ronnie... in hindsight, maybe you should have lightened up a little. Jumping back to Volkai, they are all proud of how well they are doing. But then Jason has to go off all by himself to Idol Hunt immediately making himself a target. It's Dan who calls the rest together to make Jason a target right off the bat. "Someone has to be a target and I'd rather it not be ME." is his justification. Sidenote: Which, of course we all knew would not mean anything 20 minutes into an episode. Too early to be telegraphing the first boot but Jason should watch himself. Jack and Tommy find a connection. Jack, a professed "fun guy" and Tommy the 4th Grade Teacher. This might be a partnership to watch. Naura overhears a few of them talking about Jason... "Jason's the target". So, of course she runs to Jason... "Dude, they think you have an idol. Why do they think that?" Jason wonders why? "We've been here like .. an hour." I guess Naura missed it when he went hunting around for one a few minutes ago. More drama from Volkai revolves around Dan being a bit too "touchy" causing some discomfort with Kellee in particular, a confessed germiphobe. This issue does seem to resolve itself quickly though. A quick jump back to Lairo finds the ladies trying to construct an all women's alliance. Too early, ladies. Too early. Enough of all this... lets jump to the first Immunity Challenge and our first look at Jeff Probst, who seems to be wanting a bit of a vacation this season. The Challenge is a difficult one involving much teamwork. Race up and down an obstacle, drop a bridge and climb to the top of a tower where they must solve a massive village puzzle. Let me just provide a couple of good pics... thanks CBS. It is Volkai who wins immunity in a bit of a blowout sending Lairo to Tribal Council, but there is more. The losing tribe must draw a name out of a bag and the name drawn will be the first one to head to the Island of the Idols. Now, they assume they will be alone... but we knew better. It is Olympic Swimmer Elizabeth who gets sent and she takes it well. But when she gets there, she finds out the secret. She is very excited to see Boston Rob and Sandra waiting for her there. This was no surprise to us.. but to HER it was big news. Her training has to do with the right way to build fire. Now, how awesome to have this bit of training so early in the game from two people who know how to do it right and have done it hundreds of times. When she is told of the choice that is hers to make: go up against Boston Rob in a head to head challenge. Win and get an idol that she must use within the next two tribal council. Lose and she loses her vote at TC that night. Elizabeth unwisely chose to risk it.. oh Elizabeth. Probably wasn't smart. But, it is a lesson learned for her. Just because it seems like a good thing to do, doesn't mean it is. Heading back to camp, she realizes that she must not tell the others the truth about what happened. So she makes up a .. bad lie. But they all seemed to buy it so I guess it wasn't THAT bad. No one questioned her. At camp, we have Ronnie the Poker Player trying his best to convince a majority to vote out Elaine. I mean... she's personable and fun. Very friendly. Very social. Who would vote against her at the end? Right? But, some didn't see it quite his way and, in fact, were quite put off by his way of speaking. As were most of us, I think. Elaine gets wind of this and is able to plead her case to both Ronnie and Aaron. Vince is the other candidate. He, too, is disappointed at being a first target. I mean.. who wouldn't be. At Tribal Council, with BR and Sandra hiding out of sight, Elaine explains that she is in trouble because she is Soooo likable. Seems so wrong. And Elaine pleads her case well. "It's Day 3. Why now? Why shoot me down now just because I'm good people?" Her plea about how devastating it would be for her to go out first considering how long she has dreamed of this moment was emotional. Ronnie is next and goes on and on and on about everything he's done... **the Debbie reference. Get it now, whoever it was who said that in the chat. Vince also pleads his case with a lot of emotion. Rob to Sandra. "Was this that hard for you?" Sandra. "Nope. I vote you out and that's it". Amused. Vote happens: And it comes down between Vince and Ronnie. In the end, it is Ronnie the Poker Player who gets the honor of being the first boot. I'm not unhappy about that. You? Now, MY picks in answer to my questions: 1. Standout Female Contestant for Episode 1. For me it's kind of a tie between Janet, who impressed everyone by making fire without flint very quickly and performing so well at the challenge. And Elaine, whose likable personality seems both a blessing and a curse for her. But her ability to plead her case well saved her from even getting a single vote. 2. Standout Male Contestant for Episode 1. I'm going to give this one to Jack just for being a fun guy who performed well in the challenge too. Honestly, did any of the guys really stand out right off the bat? 3. Player most likely to be universally hated. Well, my choice for that even before the show began was Ronnie and he proved me right. Now that he's gone... I'll say Jason. 4. Player most likely to be a Fan Favorite. Elaine, for sure. So what do you all think? Who impressed you this episode? I know... short recap? From ME? Impossible.

Hello Survivor Fans, Look up in the heading and what do you see? Our countdown timer showing just 7 hours until the Premiere of Survivor 39: Island of the Idols! Now, I recall being just as excited for the premiere of Survivor 38 and then it turned out to be a stinker of a season. So what makes me still come back for more? It's a bit of a sickness, but I can't seem to help myself. Now, in case you missed it I did do a short NGH a couple of days ago. I mean... the presence of BR and Sandra just makes it hard to NOT go there. So here is a link if you want to check it out. Admittedly, I am very much so out of NGH practice but if I keep it short and simple... instead of elaborate and overblown like I used to... maybe I can get myself back in the swing. https://rtvfanaticsunite.weebly.com/survivor/survivor-39-dalton-teasers-nos-8-and-9 Survivor is the ONE show on this site that usually has no trouble drawing a crowd for the Live Chat. In fact, in seasons past we have had people taking guess at the comment total at the end of the episode. Now, seeing it IS a 90 minute premiere, I'll guess ... a grand total of 758! An orange buff will be provided to the one who guesses the closest without going over. Let's add to the game. 1. Standout Female Contestant for Episode 1. 2. Standout Male Contestant for Episode 1. 3. Player most likely to be universally hated. .4. Player most likely to be a Fan Favorite. 5. Which tribe wins the first immunity? 6. Which player visits the Island of the Idols first? 7 Who is the first boot? Guessing games are always fun! So who wants to Live Chat Survivor 39: Island of the Idols, Season 38 Episode 1 at 8 pm to 9:30 pm on CBS. ________________________________ **For Masked Singer Fans, there will be a group watch and chat but we are waiting until tomorrow, Thursday at 8 pm to play. I will do the page tomorrow to ensure that no one who watches anyway posts any spoilers before we watch as a group. Since Fox in it's infinite stupidity decided to air it's fantastic breakout fun guessing game show at the same time as Survivor, we will just make it a Thursday show for our purposes. So, make sure to DVR (or make sure you have a way to watch next day) and join us for The Masked Singer Season 2 Premiere Group Watch and Chat tomorrow night at 8 pm. Hello Survivor Fans, Okay... I admit, I've been sick for a few days. I've been dropping the ball on these Dalton teasers. I mean... some of them are seemingly unimportant but.. they do get the conversation started to some degree. The two I have missed: https://ew.com/tv/2019/09/19/survivor-boston-rob-sandra-island-of-the-idols-39-statues/ The reaction of Sandra and BR to those ginormous statues. And..... https://ew.com/tv/2019/09/20/survivor-jeff-probst-island-idols-boston-rob-sandra/ What kind of advise Probst expects Sandra and BR to give. Ho humm... How about some two days in advance "NGHish" kind of fun instead. Let's see. First of all, I do believe that Jasper will have to be a resident of the Island of the Idols. I mean... they ARE HIS toys... right? **Sorry to those unfamiliar with our NGH game so you have no idea who Jasper is and why Idols are his toys... and NOW all of our history on Disqus has been wiped clean. So sad.... Second, lets take a look at the Scorecard made by Tigger... yes, Tigger is still alive and well; just not very active but I bet that will change on Wednesday. My first episode guess on which tribe goes to tribal council: Vokai
My first episode guess on who is the first boot: Sadly, reality makes me think Janet but I loved her pre-season interview so I do NOT want this to be the case. So, it will be Lauren. For no other reason than she was referred to as a stone cold killer and that sounds really freaky. First castaway sent to the I of the I's? I'll say... Ronnie the Poker Player. For no other reason than his was the interview I was least impressed with. And, let's face it... how much fun might it be to imagine a cocky Poker Player being faced with Boston Rob on the first episode. So what kind of "test" might Ronnie be faced with from BR and Sandra? What could Sandra possibly have to teach a cocky poker player? And what could BR have to teach him that he doesn't THINK he already knows? Will it have to do with fire making? Will it have to do with fishing? Will it have to do with scaling a coconut tree or scoping out where an idol just MIGHT be hidden? Or perhaps, the best ways to eavesdrop on your tribe mates without being seen. hmm. The possibilities are endless. And what kind of challenge or test will they give him to make sure he was paying attention? Will Ronnie risk it all and take them on? Of course, he will. He's a Poker Player and that's what they do. So he takes the risk... will he win or will he lose? If he wins, he wins an advantage in the form of an idol. But sadly, BR and Sandra have lost track of the idols. Why? Because Jasper, in his infinite Monkey wisdom, realized that these two familiar humans were about to give all of his TOYS away! WHAT? Can't have this now, can we. So Jasper got his "groots" together to relocate all their toys safely hiding them from all Humans! Now it is up to Jasper to make sure that the toys are never found leaving us with a season with NO IDOLS!. None whatsoever. Well... Now, Let's say Ronnie loses to Boston Rob. No advantage but a penalty instead. So what is his penalty to be, I wonder? Well, I guess we will have to wait for Episode 1 to find out. Survivor Season 39, Island of the Idols Premiere.... in just 2 days!!! **Disclaimer: Nothing written in this blog will resemble anything that will actually happen in the episode. And if it does.. it was purely by accident. Hello Survivor Fans, And the teasers just keep on coming. But first, just a little advertisement for RHAP and Josh Wigler. I posted something on the Daily Page as well. While taking a long drive this weekend, I stumbled across a Josh Wigler Podcast on RHAP where he interviews all of the Season 39 Cast members. These interviews were conducted just days before filming began. And each podcast focuses on five players each. If you want a heads up on getting to know these people a bit, you should give these podcasts a listen. https://robhasawebsite.com/survivor39-preseason-interviews-lairo-survivor-idols-wigler/ Now, I haven't yet heard ALL the interviews. But I've heard a few and it was enough to get me excited for the season to start. I plan to catch the rest of them as soon as I can. This Dalton Ross EW Teaser is all about getting to know which of the ladies are the ones to watch. Probst mentions Missy. I DID hear her interview. When he says she is 24 going on 50 with a ton of real life experiences, some very tragic... he isn't kidding. She has been through more in her 24 years than most people experience in a lifetime. It will be interesting to see how she handles herself in the game considering where she has come from. If you want to hear what Probst is referring to, listen to the first installment of the Wigler Podcast. He doesn't mention Chelsea Walker. Now, listening to HER interview.... I think she might be a very smart player. She works for IMDb and she is a die hard... seen every single episode... Survivor Fan. She has been trying to get on the show for a long, long time. In fact, when the casting for 37 or 38 was happening, she tells a story of how she saw Probst from across the room in a restaurant. She asked the Waiter to find out what he was drinking. Then, she bought him a drink and had the Waiter present it to him as a gift from her. Not trying to curry any Probst favor there at ALL. Sadly, she did not make into THAT cast... but here she is now. She is hungry to play this game and seemed to have a clear head about how to get off to a good start. I think she might be one to watch. So far, of the ladies I have heard interviewed it was Chelsea, Missy, Elaine and Karishma. They ALL interviewed very well. Can't wait for the new season. btw.... "Stone Cold Killer" is not the phrase I think I'd want to have MY Nanny described as... just saying..... as Probst does of Lauren the Nanny. What a pretty woman. Stone cold killer? Can't be. :-}} I guess we shall see on September 25th at 8 pm when Survivor 39 gets underway! Only 9 days to go. Tick Tock Tick Tock ______________________ Just going to add the link to today's Teaser to this page from yesterday. https://ew.com/tv/2019/09/17/survivor-boston-rob-sandra-diaz-twine-island-of-the-idols-cast/ This one is about Rob and Sandra sizing up the cast after their initial meeting. So I guess we can assume from this that the cast DOES know what is in store for them should they be sent to The Island of the Idols. Both say "top notch and smarter than your average Survivor Contestants" Cast. I actually don't think they are blowing smoke here. After listening to the Wigler interviews... most of them... I have found a reason to be interested in almost all of them. Can't say I was a fan of the Poker Player's interview. Sorry Poker Player. But for the most part I think we have a pretty good cast. Who's ready? Now... only 8 days to go... Tick Tock, Tick Tock.... _______________________ The next Teaser from Dalton tackles the Men in the cast. Who to watch. Here it is... https://ew.com/tv/2019/09/18/survivor-jeff-probst-island-of-the-idols-season-39-men/ I think I still have five more players to listen to on the pre-season interviews. Can't wait for the premiere. I hope more folks show up for that chat than what we've had show up for these Teaser pages. We shall see in now.... 7 days.. Tick Tock, Tick Tock Hello Survivor Fans, who can't get enough in the way of Teasers even if they ARE Rob and Sandra centered... which concerns me heading into the season, btw. I'm more interested in learning more about the CAST... but all in good time, I guess. For NOW, Dalton seems to be obsessed with our two Survivor Icons. Teaser No. 3 was actually posted in the comments of the last page but since I want to be sure all Rob/Sandra obsessed people on this website get to see it... here it is again... https://ew.com/tv/2019/09/12/survivor-jeff-probst-island-of-the-idols-boston-rob-sandra/ The big news here? Rob and Sandra turned down letter Production build them a shelter. That bit of info needed an entire teaser column. Teaser No. 4... a bit more to it; it is the second part of Dalton's interview with them both explaining why they absolutely do not want to be seen as just another "Survivor Gimmick". Too late, guys. I think most of us see this that way. But here is the interview, if you want to read it. https://ew.com/tv/2019/09/13/survivor-boston-rob-sandra-diaz-twine-island-of-the-idols-2/ You all be the judge. Only 12 days to go! Tick Tock, Tick Tock..... Hello Survivor Fans, I know what you are thinking: didn't we already have one of these this morning? Well, I was a day behind. Today's teaser was about the "WHY"? Why DID Boston Rob and Sandra agree to do this? Well, the answers lie in this interview with Dalton. Here is the link... https://ew.com/tv/2019/09/11/survivor-boston-rob-sandra-diaz-twine-island-of-the-idols/ ....which does include a short video. Nothing really new here. I WILL say... I DO hope we get a bit of the edit with BR and Sandra building their camp together. Not a LOT of edit, but... their description of the moments sort of amused me. I also give BR credit for feeling strongly that if he's going to be out there "mentoring and teaching", he needs to be "living and doing" what he is teaching to garner respect from his students. No hanging out in a hotel room with a full- spread meal every day. No comfortable living. No help building shelters and finding food and blah, blah, blah. Okay, I assume they were given the same kind of help in the form of rice and flint....maybe even chickens? Oh, that would be so cruel to Sandra! Wasn't it her refusal to go along with the majority in the "Should we eat the chickens?" issue on "Game Changers" the start of her eventual first ever eviction? But heh. Who knows? If you have any interest in hearing straight from the mouths of BR and Sandra why they agreed to do this mentoring thing (well, other than money. I'm sure there's a paycheck involved), Dalton's interview is an interesting read. Fourteen days to go.... Tick tock... tick tock.... Hello Survivor Fans, The first of many expected teaser articles by Dalton Ross at EW was posted yesterday - and somehow I missed it! But, never fear. I'm here to get the conversation started today. So here is a link to the article, which includes a video of Probst explaining how the "Island of the Idols" will work. It's a bit different than I expected. Not sure what I expected, honestly...
https://ew.com/tv/2019/09/10/survivor-jeff-probst-island-of-the-idols-season-39/ After hearing the explanation, I am a little intrigued. I mean, it COULD be interesting. The article doesn't really say HOW a person gets sent to the "Island of the Idols". I'm assuming it will be one of those "one tribe wins and gets to send someone from the other tribe there" kind of things. My question: do they know before being sent there what they are being met with? At least the first one? Or is it a surprise? And if they are conflicted about going, can they ask for "divine guidance" and hope for a sign from their higher power(#KeithFromIsleOfExtinctionHumorThatYouKNOWCatloverDidNotWrite) ? No idea. All we know is that a person gets sent there. And it appears that Rob and Sandra work together, not separately, here. I could be wrong about this. They teach the person something. It could be any kind of skill they might need, be it making fire or something strategy. But the instruction comes with a choice. Be "tested" on what they learned - or "refuse to be tested". If they choose to be tested and WIN against their mentors, it will be worth an advantage in the game. IF they choose to be tested and LOSE - well "What a fool you were to go up against US (#StupidDunce) Now you are in trouble - here is how to recover." So that means.. no advantage at all then? OR, could the person could simply refuse the test? At this point, Rob and Sandra are given the freedom to "raise the stakes". To make the offer even more tempting, I guess. I assume if they refuse to be tested, no penalty for losing - but no advantage either? Maybe.... It sounds interesting to me. Now I'm willing to go in with SOME enthusiasm. We'll see how it goes. What do you all think? Hello Survivor Fans! The Day has finally arrived. CBS has released the names, pics and profiles of the new cast of Survivor 39. Here is a link to Dalton's article... https://ew.com/tv/survivor-island-of-the-idols-cast/ But, since I can't seem to help myself, I'm going to give us a big "first look" here on our blog site anyway. If you are like me, you are walking into this season with a bit of reluctance. After all, Survivor truly disappointed us all with last seasons theme; and now we must contend with the coronation all season of Queen Sandra and King Rob to instruct the masses on how to play the game of Survivor. How will this work, I wonder? Are they part of reward wins? Will we get more BR and Sandra edit than any of us wants? That remains to be seen. Until then, let's take a minute to get to know our players. Kellee Kim. 29 from Newport Beach, CA. Kellee is an MBA Student living in Philidelphia who sees herself most like Kelley Wentworth. We'll see if that "likeness" extends to more than just her name. Ronnie Bardah, 35 from Brockton, Mass... currently Henderson, Nevada. Oh look. A Poker Player on a season where an infamous Survivor Winning Poker Player is a Mentor. Ronnie fashions himself a cross between Jeremy Collins, Devin Pinto and Boston Rob, of course. That's a might big shoe, if you combine all three of them, that he is trying to fill. Will he succeed? Chelsea Walker, 26 from Marlton, NJ... currently living in Los Angeles and working as a Digital Content Creator. Chelsea fancies herself a cross between Kelley Wentworth and Parvati. Everybody wants to be a "Parvati". Very few can pull it off. Well see how Chelsea does. Dean Kowalski, 28 from Westfield, NJ currently living in New York and working in Tech Sales. Dean says he considers him most like Wendell who he respected for his "quiet leadership". Naura Salman, 36 from Bethesda, Maryland, Entrepreneur. Naura sees herself most like Malcolm... physically strong. Great at puzzles. Liked by all. And, Fabio? hmm. His coming off as "underestimated" is the reason. Vince Moua, 27 from Palo Alto, California, Admissions Counselor. To the school of "how to do a successful Survivor Audition video?" He claims "no one has seen anyone like him on the game of Survivor before!" Bold statement. Then, he follows that up with saying he could be a mix between Shii Ann and Cirie. Interesting combination. Lauren Beck, 28 from Glendale, CA, Nanny. She compares herself to Troyzan but only because he is "hot"... Cirie for her excellent social play... and Queen Sandra herself for her ability to be cutthroat. Tommy Sheehan, 26 from Long Beach, NY. Tommy is a 4th Grade Teacher. That makes me like him. He see himself a cross between David Wright for his strategy, Davie for his social game, and Amanda Kimmel for her likability. Karishma Patel, 37 from Philadelphia currently living in Houston and working as a Personal Injury Lawyer. She sees herself most like Natalie Anderson. Not afraid to speak her mind and good at making small, subtle moves to advance her game. Aaron Meredith, 26 from Warwick, RI. Gym Owner. Which roughly translates into "huge physical threat". He fancies himself an "Ozzy". Physical powerhouse with the ability to play a smart social game and a major contributor around camp. Molly Byman, 27 originally from Boston currently living in Durham, NC. Law Student. Molly wants to be another Parvati... because she was charming but also manipulative. She also sees a bit of "Wendell" in herself. Emotionally neutral and ability to see humor in stressful situations. Tom Laidlaw, 60 from Brampton Ontario Canada!!!!! Is this a first WM? Tom currently lives in the US in Greenwich, Connecticut and is a former NHL Player. But wait... he sees himself like a "Ben". I know some of you don't care much for Ben. But... he IS a Canadian! Missy Byrd, 24 from Decatur, GA currently living in Tacoma, Washington. Missy is an Air Force Veteran. The comment is "Kim, my girl, is a legend". I assuming she means Kim Spradlin. Good choice, Missy! Jack Nichting, 23 from Harrisonberg, Virginia. Jack is a Graduate Student. Well, he loves listening to and singing musical music. This could be... interesting. It will be fun with Boston Rob has to instruct him to stop singing songs from Dear Evan Hansen on the beach. "You're driving everyone NUTS". NGH in the making. Sorry. He fancies himself the likable Devin Pinto. And, lets face it... who WOULDN'T want to be like Devin if you were a young, 23 year old long haired Survivor player. Elaine Stott, 41 from Woodbine, Kentucky. Elaine is a Factory Worker. She compares herself to Rupert. Strong on the outside. A marshmallow on the inside. HA. I like that. She openly admits to being a big softie. Does she WANT everyone else to know this? Jason Linden, a lifelong New Yorker. He is also a Personal Injury Lawyer. That is TWO PIL's in this cast. Interesting. This is his comment. It's too good for me to paraphrase. "A mix of Stephen Fishbach/Adam Klein/Cochran 2.0/Rob Cesternino and weirdly a little Tony Vlachos. Buckle up baby — it’s going to be a wild ride." He has a lot to live up to there. Can he do it? Elizabeth Beisel, 26 from Saunderstown, RI. Wow... she is an Olympian. Made the Olympic Team at the age of 15 in 2008. Great at Surfing and Wakeboarding which means good in the water. AND, she wins points from me for choosing a one piece suit to play Survivor! She sees herself like "Kara". hmm. Someone remind me who Kara is? Still, I may not remember the one she likes from Survivor's past but I'm officially stating that this is one I want to root for. Based on nothing more than that I like the fact that she chose a one piece suit for Survivor and not a bikini. Jamal Shipman, 33 from Providence RI. (That is three from RI. RI is very small. They are trying for a Matt/Dave issue here, aren't they. These people must know each other.) Anyway, Jamal is a College Administrator and he likes Jeremy. He says that Jeremy's second run was how he would like to play his game. He also likes Wendell, Officer Sarah, and Christian. **I mean... who doesn't like Christian. I'm just saying. He's like Survivor's own Sheldon Cooper. Janet Carbin, 59 originally from New Jersey but currently residing in Palm Bay, Florida. Chief Lifeguard. Says she is not as "rough and stern" as she comes off to people. Oh Janet. You are that older woman contestant we all want to root for. Keep that "rough and stern" thing in check. She compares herself to Stephanie for her athleticism. Dan Spilo, 48 from New York but currently living in LA and working as a Talent Manager. Dan compares himself to.. "Crowley and Kwon because of background, Westman and Boston Rob for social gameplay, and Cochran because he’s freaking cool and weird. " The Tribes are also already released. No secrets for this season! The Lairo Tribe The Vokai Tribe Will be fun to analyze these tribe assignments. Who will align with who? Who will be picked off first? Now, I have saved this for last because I honestly don't think that Rob and Sandra should get a lot of edit. The show isn't about them. It is about our new players. But, since they will be present, I suppose we should include them in this preview. So what do you all think? Will this upcoming season make us all forget about the bad season last time? I hope so. Who is ready for Survivor 39? Island of the Idols! |
